75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient carefor nurse visits in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols. Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. Epic EMR experience preferred.SHIFT: Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, no weekends, holidays or call. Travelers are first to float within facility. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Orientation is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs: required and not provided by the facility.
