Responsibilities
- Procure materials and services for various commodities, emphasizing cost savings and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships to achieve material cost and availability goals.
- Analyze market trends and conduct supplier assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Provide guidance and support to buyers and other team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
