Product Line Representative


Job Details

The primary responsibility of the Aircraft Product Line Representative is to conduct thorough market analysis, provide technical support, and develop pricing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the organization.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess entire assets for acquisition and devise strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee the disassembly process for commercial aircraft, coordinate drop shipments, and select appropriate component repair stations to optimize costs and turnaround times.
  • Ensure airframe materials are properly certified and readily available to support the sales team and customer base promptly.
  • Maintain an updated pricing structure for managed materials.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage targeted revenues, particularly focusing on aging inventory to facilitate quicker reinvestment in acquiring newer assets.
  • Assist the Director of Product Lines in valuing all presented opportunities with relevant forecast data for review by the Commercial Review Board and CFO/CEO.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms aligning with the company's return on investment/internal rate of return (ROI/IRR).
  • Collaborate with the Director of Product Lines to establish a strategic buyer team to assess demand based on internal data and market knowledge according to the executive team's investment strategy.
  • Provide monthly reports on specific sales of acquired materials and company-set sales targets.


Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in aircraft product line, airframe material or sales roles within the commercial aviation industry.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with current and potential buyers and sellers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management processes, negotiation, and managing contractual purchasing requirements, including letters of intent (LOI) and sales and purchasing agreements (SPA).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Capability to support and foster knowledge development within a team environment across Technical, Repairs, and Strategic Purchasing departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting management's deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
