DPS is currently hiring a Process Department Manager/Senior Engineer for our Philadelphia Office. We are seeking a senior process engineer with leadership capabilities and extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology engineering project delivery.

This is a crucial leadership role within the Philadelphia operation, initially reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Project Operations. This position will play a key role in helping in DPS continue to provide our clients with successful outcomes. Candidates will be excited by the opportunity to help DPS continue to develop its process presence in the life sciences market.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Managing, hiring, and developing the process design team

* Execute site master planning, concept designs and early preliminary engineering phases

* Assist in development of group systems, procedures, standards and knowledge management

* Prepare and participate in project proposals, man-hour estimating and client presentations

* Participate in presentations at industry conferences and writing of papers in publications. Identify and research future industry trends. Keep on top of technology and industry developments

* Support Business Development for client engagement at senior levels

* To develop, organize and control program to eliminate existing or potential process/engineering problems and deliver plant improvements

* Provide technical backup to the operations teams in resolving complex process/plant problems

**Skills & Qualifications**

* BS in Industrial, Process or Chemical Engineering

* Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required

* 15+ years of relevant and successful experience in an environment with Biotechnology and pharmaceutical engineering facility design and construction

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

* Excellent analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills

* Advanced time management and organizational skills

* Leadership skills, managing people for project safety, quality and delivery

* Participate in project engineering coordination activities

* Results and customer oriented, communication skills, listening and working in a team
