Who we are looking for:

Froehling and Robertson is looking for a Staff Accountant that will support the activities of the Controller and assist in assuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.

What you'll be doing:

Specific duties include, but not limited to:

  • General ledger accounting and reconciliation.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of journal entries.
  • Responsible for assisting in the preparation of income statements, balance sheets, accounting statements and other operational reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closings.
  • General ledger analytics and research as requested to support operations.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.


What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant a plus.
  • 1-4 years of related experience.
  • ERP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to rapid changes/rapid work environment, manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel user.
  • Recognition and respect for the confidential nature of the work.
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R's pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record.
