Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Pay: $18/hour
Department: Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator is a Full Time Position that will oversee all store-level processes related to inventory management to achieve an accurate and productive stock of inventory. The Inventory Coordinator will research inventory inaccuracies to determine root cause and will train other staff members on inventory best practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist store personnel with the 7-day workflow including performing the following activities:
Price changes
Cycle counts
Negative on-hands
Item Change Management (ICM)
Coach all staff on inventory management best practices as they apply to each person's job duties, including the training of new associates.
Create and update documentation related to in-store inventory maintenance processes.
Routinely review inventory management reports and provide analysis to store management team.
Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage in the store.
Identify obsolete inventory and develop an action plan to deal with it appropriately.
Implement and maintain location codes.
Review and monitor purchase orders.
Oversee introduction of new items to store mix.
Qualifications:
Intense attention to detail
Superb organization and prioritization
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong knowledge of technical systems, applications and equipment
Experience with POS systems or similar Retail experience
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
High standards and measures of excellence to ensure quality assurance in every aspect of the role
Independent judgement and problem solving with very little supervision.
Physical Demand and Work Environment :
Lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs and use hands with repetitive motion
Work a flexible schedule to include nights and/or weekends as dictated by retail operations
Work in heated and/or air-conditioned indoor setting including in a warehouse

Reliable transportation to work. Can stand for long periods of time. Detail-oriented.
