Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our HR Talent Acquisition Team! The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for the coordination of Erie s recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. They will work closely with job candidates, hiring managers and other human resources professionals in support of Erie s hiring needs. Along with the hiring manager they will coordinate the flow of candidates thorough the recruitment process, from the posting of the job to bringing new employees on board.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Posts all employment positions on Erie website and external job search databases.
  • Develops questionnaires for all postings to ensure that candidates who meet the requirements of the position are easily identified.
  • Conducts phone screens for potential candidates for open positions and provides hiring managers with qualified candidates to be interviewed.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with hiring managers and follows up on status of the hiring process on a regular basis.
  • Generates staffing reports as required.
  • Coordinates interviews
  • Communicates with supervisors on all required onboarding steps
  • Travels to sites as needed to meet the recruiting needs of Erie managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in human resources, business, or health administration AND 2 years of professional recruiting experience required.

OR

  • Associate s degree or 2 years college AND 4 years of professional recruiting experience required

OR

  • High School diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of professional recruiting experience required
  • Health care or non-profit experience a plus.
