**Custodian I (Student Union) (Multiple Positions)** **Location** Main Campus The AZ Student Unions is looking for Custodian I (Multiple Positions) to join our team in the Custodian Department. As a Custodian I, you will maintain the cleanliness of restaurants, restrooms, dining areas, classrooms, lab rooms and offices of assigned buildings on the university campus. Working conditions - restricted movement, dirty environment; lifts or carries heavy objects.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
* Cleans dining areas
* Removal and discarding of garbage, compost and recycle
* Keeping dining orderly
* Vacuums, spot cleans and/or shampoo rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment
* Sweeps, mops polishes and strips floors in dining areas, kitchen areas, rooms and halls
* Moves furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required
* Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment
* Cleans restrooms and fill dispensers
* Stocks area with appropriate supplies
* Must be willing to work mornings, nights, weekends and day shift to accommodate restaurant needs
* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
* Knowledge of job content, practices and procedures. Still learning skills necessary to fully perform all aspects of the job
**Minimum Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required
* Must possess a valid drivers license
* Must be willing to work mornings, nights, weekends and day shift to accommodate restaurant needs
* Must be able to transport/move a minimum of 50 pounds
