Automotive TechnicianStadium GM Superstore in Salem is seeking an energetic, and success driven GM Certified Automotive Service Technician for our dealership located in Salem, OH. Our Chevrolet/Buick/GMC/Cadillac service team is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction to our loyal customers.If you fit the above criteria and you are committed to 100% customer satisfaction, then you could be the next GM Automotive Service Technician we are looking for. Prior Automotive Technician experience is required and GM Certification is a must.Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Technician, you will perform automotive repairs as described on repair orders with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with factory and service center standards. You will diagnose vehicle malfunctions, recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs. Additional responsibilities include:Examining vehicles to diagnose necessary repairsCommunicating maintenance needs to Service AdvisorPerforming work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etcNotifying Service Advisor if work cannot be completed as promisedDocumenting all work performed clearly and accuratelyAttending and successfully completing factory training as requiredKeeping informed of factory technical bulletinsJob Requirements2 years of automotive maintenance experience and training is requiredCan work in a fast pace environment and are organized and can manage your timeExperience can include oil changes, basic maintenance or minor repair work.High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and a good driving recordExcellent customer service skillsFocus on customer satisfactionProfessional appearance, demeanor and work ethicOur Commitment to YouOur Stadium GM team members enjoy an excellent benefits package which includes:Excellent CompensationPaid VacationMedical, dental, vision benefits & life insurance401 (k)All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing.
