Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of marine product planning? We're seeking a passionate Division Manager to lead our Marine Product Planning team and drive the strategy and development of our diverse product portfolio in the US Marine Business. From outboard motors to watercraft and beyond, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of outdoor recreational products and experiences.


What You'll Do:


  • Partner closely with the Marine Business Unit and senior management to understand product needs and internal capabilities, crafting and executing a cohesive product strategy that aligns with our overarching objectives.
  • Lead a team of dedicated product managers across various categories, guiding them in researching, studying, and establishing innovative strategies to enhance our marine product offerings.
  • Develop comprehensive project outlines and business strategies for executive presentations and meetings with other business units, leveraging market research and planning resources to drive informed decision-making.
  • Oversee projects from initial design conception through to production, establishing clear schedules and facilitating concurrent reviews and workshops with intercompany factory teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, including annual surveys, competitive analysis, and direct engagement with stakeholders such as owners, dealers, and enthusiasts, to inform our product strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with our Advanced Development team to explore new opportunities for enhancing the water experience through innovative technologies and experiences.


What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc), with a demonstrated track record of success in product planning and management.
  • Proven experience presenting strategies to executive and C-Suite levels, with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • A background in managing multiple product lines within a diverse portfolio, with a keen understanding of cross-functional collaboration and project management principles.
  • A natural leader with a talent for developing and motivating team members, creating succession plans, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Previous experience in the marine industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including some international travel, to engage with stakeholders and explore new opportunities.
