Requirements for Production/Plant Manager
What we are looking for in this position:
- Leadership skills
- Bilingual able to communicate with English/Spanish employees (not mandatory but helpful)
- Problem solving/Critical thinking skills
- Time management and able to delegate work
- Ability to come in early or stay late if needed
- Self-motivated
- Understanding of shipping and receiving
- Good communication with clients, vendors, and employees
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft (Outlook, Excel)
- Knowledge of integrated business software
Production Duties
- Review inventory items for upcoming order
- Manage inventory and assist keeping warehouse organized, order raw materials (paper & glue) and coordinate w/venders for printing & slitting
- Assist with manufacturing supervision and reviewing work detail
- Ensuring all departments are following OSHA Safety regulations
Shipping Duties
- Processing/Reviewing shipping quantities are correct
- Place shipments, trace trucks, update status
- Maintain accurate shipping logs of daily shipments and documentation.
- Schedule PTS truck for local deliveries
