**Pace is currently hiring for Warehouse Package Handler and Sorter for immediate start in our La Vergne, TN Warehouse. Join our warehouse team and take the first step towards a rewarding career in the fast-paced logistics industry!**
As a Warehouse Package Handler and Sorter at Pace, you will be tasked with various assignments including lifting, moving, and sorting boxes to build pallets of freight. Youll lift, lower and slide packages up to 50 lbs. Shifts are scheduled Sunday - Friday and typically range from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. and 03:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. up to approximately 5-6 days per week. Earn up to $31,200 per year!
**Key Responsibilities for Warehouse Package Handler and Sorter:**
* Unloading inbound trucks - offload freight from trailers both by hand and with the support of equipment.
* Work the sort line - moving, organizing, staging, and loading various sized boxed freight off the conveyor line
* Palletize freight - sorting packages, building pallets and wrapping pallets in plastic to secure freight
* Use digital scanners and equipment to manage the loading/unloading of freight in Pace's system
* Loading trucks with pallets using manual pallet jack.
* Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.

* Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.

* Competitive Pay - Starting at $15.00 with pay increases at 90 days, 6 months and 1 year based on performance and metrics. Earn up to $1.50 of pay increases in first year!
* Multiple schedule options for your needs - 1st and 2nd shifts available, full-time or part-time

* Consistent, Weekly Schedule: Sunday - Friday (During PEAK) Sunday - Thursday non PEAK up to 5-6 days per week
