QOS Networks is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our Operations team. This position is based in QOS Distribution Center in Anaheim, CA. The IMS will analyze sales driven demand for management of physical inventories and inventory reporting, as well as manage communication with vendors. The IMS will provide regular reporting on inventory status to various departments across the organization. The IMS will also handle processing of RMAs for customer equipment and will be the liaison between vendors and all internal departments at QOS from an inventory perspective.

Responsibilities:

* Primary owner of purchasing and inventory management related processes and systems

* Works with finance team to validate the SKUs/products to order

* Material/equipment demand from customer sales orders to generate purchase orders/release orders to various vendors and or service providers. Owns and manages the validation of information on all sales orders/purchase orders/BOLs

* Works closely with Finance and Service Delivery to maintain a stocking order inventory through several vendors determined by inventory level KPIs and forecasting metrics.

* Processes purchase orders into QOS accounting system and manages the inventory in QOS internal systems from order creation to inventory receipt.

* Owns and manages all communication with vendors for all inventory related matters

* Works with vendors to streamline existing order processes

* Provides ongoing reporting of projected inventory receipts, including backorder status and daily sales orders placed to key stakeholders within QOS

* Consistently reviews new vendors and presents new sourcing options to leadership team through QOS vendor review process

* Initiates, coordinates and enforces optimal operational policies and procedures regarding to inventory management

* Creates and manages reports and dashboards using Service Now

* Processes RMAs for customers for customers equipment, and oversees the RMA from its creation though its completion inside Service Now

* Works with Global Logistics team on the basic testing of faulty equipment in coordination with vendors as part of testing requirements for equipment replacement

* Retrieves faulty equipment back from customers to retire and return to vendors, including communication to customers and updating of assets inside QOS systems

* Adheres to all vendor RMA requirement processes, including return timelines, return shipping methods and testing validation

Requirements:

* Proven work experience in a best in class supply chain management, procurement, or inventory management environment

* Previous experience working with a material requirement planning (MRP), procurement, and inventory management system and processes

* Some technical experience and basic familiarity of routers and/or switches

* Experience with Service Now ITSM is preferred but not required Previous experience with work order management and report creation inside Service now is a big plus

* Experience with Salesforce is a plus

* Experience with NetSuite is a plus

* Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

* Strong knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Strong initiative and ownership mentality

* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills

* Excellent communication skills
