**Entity/Organization**: MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority/Medical Center) **Job Summary/Purpose**: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses of this specialty unit will do direct admissions, case management and utilization reviews, to include pre-certing the patient for admission. **Minimum Training and Education**: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. **Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:** License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.
