SUMMARY:


The Sales and Catering Coordinator is a pivotal support role within the Sales and Catering Team, contributing to the seamless execution of catering events and administrative functions. This dynamic position involves handling various responsibilities, including contract creation, client communication, and documentation management. The successful candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and strong communication abilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • and pursue new business opportunities to support sales growth.
  • and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • in preparing presentations and proposals for prospective clients, and group resumes.
  • in the planning and execution of catering events, and room blocks ensuring adherence to client expectations.
  • closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • logistical aspects of events and room blocks, including adding rooming lists in the PMS, setups, audiovisual equipment, and catering services in our catering system.
  • seamless execution of events and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • with the completion of banquet event orders and group resumes based on client expectations.
  • various administrative duties and tasks as assigned by management.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • experience as a catering coordinator, or other relevant position in the hospitality or food service experience industry
  • or business management skills
  • communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
  • and punctual


EDUCATION:


A high school diploma is required and a bachelor s degree or associate degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:


Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred).
