Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading the market brands existing network of car wash locations and working collaboratively with other key leaders on the future expansion of additional locations in the local metro and surrounding geographic area.

In this role, the VP of Operations will be responsible for the adoption and execution of the Company s strategies to drive business outcomes. These outcomes will include but not be limited to delivering on financial results, fostering a sustainable culture to align with the core values of the company and driving operational excellence within the region by developing and coaching their team members. This role will plan, coordinate, and oversee operations activities within the market brand, ensuring execution of efficient and cost-effective operational plans and processes to meet the current and future needs of the business.

Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)

Strategic Planning and Business Development

Collaborates with executive leadership of other market brands and support center teams to develop and meet company goals while supplying operational expertise and guidance on company initiatives.

Partners with Development, Real Estate, Construction, and Implementation teams to enable future location expansion and new market growth through de novo development and M&A activity.

Develops, recommends, and executes operational initiatives to expand market share and increase customer demand, optimizing operational processes to accommodate higher volumes while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Operations

Directly oversees the market brand providing leadership, guidance, and direction to achieve organizational objectives and deliver financial results.

Responsible for deployment and monitoring of financial budget within the market brand

Ensures constructive two-way communication between field and support center.

Collaborates with business partners to identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.

Ensures market brand decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, talent development, marketing, maintenance, and IT are in line with the organization s business plan and vision.

Presents performance reports and metrics to the Chief Operating Officer and other leadership.

Conducts site/district visits to assess and ensure customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Ensures consistency of operational excellence throughout the market brand with field visits, strong communication strategies and timely monitoring of operational metrics.

Engages with business partners to establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and safety/security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

People and Performance Management

Recommends and advances comprehensive employee development programs to foster a culture of learning and growth in collaboration with other key leaders.

Facilitates and fosters a cohesive team culture across the brands and within the market.

Develops talent to enhance business performance and facilitate succession planning.

Leads change within the organization and encourages continuous feedback to ensure success and adoption.

Actively participates in company and industry presentations and events.


Education and Experience

Required:

  • degree in business administration or other industry-related field or equivalent working experience
  • least 10 years of industry-related experience including five years in upper management required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven experience as a Market Manager, VP & General Manager or VP of Operations of a multi-unit retail business (strong preference from car wash industry)

Experience assimilating and integrating multi-site operations.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence with a strong sense of urgency for achieving results.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Physical Requirements:

  • be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • to travel up to 50% or as business matters require.
