As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we re looking for an experienced 3rd Shift MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment and Conveyor repairs
- Robotic Repairs including PLC's and Pneumatic equipment
- Rack or guard rail repairs if needed
- Painting lines on floor
- Moving internal fencing for layout redesign
- Avidbot floor scrubber activation and maintenance/PM
- Fire extinguisher checks monthly
- Moving furniture
- Hang TV s white boards, etc as needed
- Train, coach and manage associates in all policies and procedures of the company
- Keep proper and accurate documentation and records
- Other Duties and responsibilities assigned by management
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
- High school diploma/GED
- Electrician Journeyman Card and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic and industrial skills with some HVAC
- OSHA 10 30 Hour
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
- Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, RFID scanning equipment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, coolant and oils, moving mechanical parts and vibration. In addition, the employee is periodically exposed to elevated heights.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical requirements for this job directly reflect the essential functions necessary to be successful in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing and sitting throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee will also need to adjust to changes in temperature and noise level.
