Job Details

Our client, BWS Architects is seeking a Design Architect to lead the design process for their Phoenix team. This Design Architect can focus, nearly exclusively, on designing and plays a key role on the Phoenix team in setting the design vision and acting as the liaison between the client and the production team. This is a creatively oriented Architect who develops the design concept, continues to work with the project architect ensuring the design intent remains intact, assists with proposals, and helps develop marketing materials.

Who they are looking for:

  • Architect with 5+ years of design experience that includes a track record of creative projects and working with clients to align their visions with their needs and budgets
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of architectural design experience in public works, higher education, K-12, Governmental Offices, Community Health facilities, Recreation, Public Safety, or similar work.
  • Experienced Architect who has proven success as the key client contact with proven ability to guide design decisions, and effectively influence the team in a way that holds true to the design concept and client expectations
  • Strong communicator and creative problem solver with a focus on listening, collaboration, and advocating for the best solutions in writing, verbally, and graphically
  • Strong time management skills with the proven ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • This is a close-knit and collaborative environment, so a willingness to wear multiple hats as needed and enthusiasm about participating in the business, as needed, is important
  • Bachelor's or master's in Architecture required
  • Registered Architect in the state of AZ or ability to obtain quickly
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, rendering programs, and MS Office
  • The ability to use Revit in a professional environment is strongly preferred
