They gather information, troubleshoot to identify customer needs, and fill orders efficiently and effectively while providing outstanding customer service support.*Parts Sales Representative Responsibilities** Responds to incoming customer requests quickly and efficiently* Follows up as necessary, within expected timelines (by the next business day)* Diagnoses and troubleshoots customer issues over the phone and via email as needed to identify parts needed* Builds quotes parts sales and communicates to Customers as quickly as possible* Recommends and refers customers to other departments as needed* Prioritizes Customer Requests based on customer status and their mission and size and complexity of their request* Escalates Customer concerns to the appropriate party quickly and sensitively* Uses software tools to track performance within the department to ensure parts sales goals are met, identifies challenges, recommends solutions* Populates and updates database of frequently purchased parts for customers to expedite quoting and processing of transactions* Works to maximize/enhance parts sales* Upsells to customers to maximize their future mission readiness and parts sales revenue* Stays up to date on new products and services, communicates to customers to enhance the customer experience and sales within the parts department* Maintains positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and industry partners* Pro-actively communicates challenges or concerns with customers when parts quotes or shipments are delayed or unable to be filled as agreed to*Parts Sales Representative Position Requirements** Customer service skills demonstrates patience and understanding, is knowledgeable and professional in all communications with customers* Adapt to prioritize tasks and customer requests* Communicates clearly, timely, effectively and proactively verbally and in writing with external and internal customers and suppliers.* Problem-solving and resourcefulness* Ability to identify and diagnose customer needs, often with limited information, resulting in positive outcome and a sale* Proficient in Office, Sales/Customer Service software, and databases. Able to populate information and produce basic reports* Ability to stay organized and focused able and willing capture/document information vs relying on Tribal Knowledge or manual processes.* Time Management Managing one s own time to always remain actively productive* High School Diploma (GED/High School Equivalence Certificate)* Understanding of logistics and parts distribution timelines, challenges, and opportunities* Sales experience-preferably parts saleswith a proven track record of meeting revenue goals while providing outstanding customer service* Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Sales/Parts Management software systems* 3 years of parts sales experience preferred#LI-DNI
