HR Generalist / onsite
$70,000 - $80,000 / Greater Richmond area
LHH is currently seeking an HR Generalist for an innovative manufacturing company that is currently enjoying fast-paced growth. This position s primary responsibility will be employee relations. The ideal candidate will embrace their role as the primary point of contact on behalf of the HR Department to employees.
Position Overview:
- Proven track record of excellent employee relations experience
- Excellent working knowledge of current HR Laws and Regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Calendar management, including meeting and travel arrangements
- Manage ongoing HR operations, such as time and expenses
- Experience working with hourly workforce
Position Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills required / ability to work with a variety of people
- Ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities is essential
- Background in manufacturing, supply chain or distribution is highly preferred
- 3 -5 years experience of HR Generalist experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with hourly workers is strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills required.
- A naturally team-oriented person, with clear enthusiasm for your work
- Keen attention to detail / strong project management skills
