We are looking for a Platform Engineer who will be responsible for the management and performance of Business Intelligence systems and applications across the enterprise as part of the IT team. * Build, Deploy and manage BI Data Solutions (Netezza, Hadoop) and BI Reporting Solutions (OBIEE, Crytsal Reports, Cognos, Tableau Server)
* Support critical production systems to ensure stability, uptime and performance
* Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and techniques to maximize development efficiency
* Develop team members by providing coaching, code review, and process guidance
* Create and uphold technology standards, processes, and audit methodologies
* Continuously improve IT platforms based on retail and data management technology trends in support of business strategies

**The Perfect Candidate**
* 3+ years of hands-on working experience managing a variety of database and/or data management technologies including Hadoop (i.e. HBASE, Hive, MapReduce, NiFi, Sqoop, Spark, Zeppelin), Netezza, Globalscape, etc
* Significant experience with managing an Enterprise BI tool (i.e. Cognos, OBIEE, Crystal Reports, Tableau Server, etc
* Experience with both Unix and Windows Server environment
* Experience in utilizing and creating DevOps practice
* A 4-year degree in an IT related field
* Retail experience is a plus
