Position Summary
We re looking for a Senior Financial Specialist to handle Studio administration, finance, invoicing, contracts and internal policy compliance for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. The official title for this role is Senior Business Support Specialist I.
This position entails meticulous financial record-keeping and data entry tasks for our entire Studio team. Responsibilities include maintaining all accurate records for all photo shoot invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers, identifying budget goals, and assisting with ad-hoc projects.
This position will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records to support the studio's financial health and decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain a detailed record-keeping system for all invoices processed, including payment dates and amounts
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments, or financial records independently
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to support informed business decision-making, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
- Collaborate closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations, providing necessary financial documentation as needed
- Communicate effectively with the accounting team to reconcile accounts, address any financial discrepancies, and support month-end and year-end closing processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in finance management (ex. bookkeeping, accounting); strong understanding of financial principles and practices is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with experience Microsoft Excel; ability to efficiently manage financial data and generate reports
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently research and implement solutions to financial challenges
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate information to stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a legal or regulatory compliance environment is a plus
- Bilingual in Mandarin is highly preferred
Pay
$69,805.00 min - $93,700.00 max annually. Bonus offered.
