Position Overview
The Cell Technician is a key position within Research & Development that assists in building test cells to guide decision-making. They will be responsible for approaching cell engineering and fabrication with a high level of detail and integrity. The ideal candidate would be extremely flexible, curious, resilient, and eager to learn.
Primary responsibilities:
- Build test batteries (target specs of mass, geometry, voltage, resistance, etc.)
- Assemble and disassemble electrodes and weld stacks to insert in packaging
- Perform specified Q/C tests using standard operating procedures
- Prepare batteries for testing
- Log battery specifications into the database
- Communicate issues observed with a supervisor
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment
Qualifications- Minimum Associate's Degree in a technical field with a Bachelor's preferred and/or commensurate experience
- 2+ years of experience in fabrication of devices, preferably batteries
- Ability to follow documented procedures
- Experience with hand tools
- Experienced with data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience.
$ 29.18 (entry-level qualifications) to $36.39 (highly experienced) Hourly
This is the pay range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
