Robert Half has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturing organization as they look to add a new member to their accounting team. This is a rare opportunity for a new grad with a degree in accounting or someone with a few years of general accounting experience to get exposure to & trained in cost accounting!
As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in the overall success of the accounting function as you:
- Determine standard costs
- Analyze variances
- Perform profitability analysis
- Lead the annual physical inventory process
- Perform ad hoc acct. & finance duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Either a Bachelor's in Accounting, OR...
- Several years' general accounting experience
- A desire to learn standard cost accounting
- Advanced Excel knowledge (proficient with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
