Prolink is currently looking for a Production Manager with a manufacturing background in the Emporia, KS area.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a dynamic team comprising 4-5 salaried direct reports and 200-250 indirect personnel within a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
- Actively mentor team members, fostering a culture of professional growth, skill development, and responsibility sharing.
- Strategically establish and guide daily operational priorities, ensuring alignment with overall process objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on areas such as safety protocols, production efficiency, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping standards.
- Develop and oversee a cost-control budget for area-specific equipment, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or substantial industry-specific experience as an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5-12 years of proven management, continuous improvement, process improvement, and organizational changes within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrable leadership presence to positively influence the team dynamics.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both oral and written, with the skill to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
