**General description**

Develop and design architectural system and application solutions, standards and roadmaps, assess new technologies for investment, and articulate the transition from current to future architectural state in consideration of the future needs of the business, security policies and requirements, and striking an optimal balance between standardization, customization, innovation, costs and risk management.

Accountabilities

* Design, develop and review ICT solutions that require the integration of multiple technologies, and the interrelationships of multiple systems serving diverse customers and provide technical advice and counsel to IT project teams working on architectural issues to ensure alignment.

* Translate clients business needs and strategy to functional and technical system solutions, in line with clients requirements and TS guidelines, in a way that realizes customer satisfaction and/ or contributes to TS profitability. *Systems: server, network, storage, backup, data center, middleware, OS (related components).

* Costing of specific solutions for the customer account, in context of T-Systems portfolio, standards and principles.

* Coordinate the implementation of designed ICT solutions, interact with the client on all levels in relation to the solution to ensure customer satisfaction.

* Coach team members and coordinate execution and delivery, to ensure efficient and effective realization of business goals.

* Review bids and proposals of ICT solutions on e.g. functional and technical feasibility, impact and costs, advice on alternatives and optimize the functional and technical aspects of bids and proposals, in a way that enables TS to decide on go/no go for bids/ proposals and to contribute to winning of best-fit and profitable bids and solutions.

* Manage the team of up to 2 people directly and up to 10 engineers indirectly (functional leadership).

**Requirements**

Education

* University degree and several years of work experience or comparable vocational training with long-time work experience

Experience

* Broad level of knowledge across enterprise Information and Communication Technology (ICT) technologies, ideally will have depth of experience in one or more specialist enterprise technologies

* An in depth knowledge of the TS Portfolio

* Is able to present complex ideas, concepts and technical solutions to high level non -technical audiences.

* Solution Architecture or engineering experience

* Applies knowledge and skills to deal with complex problems, extending and coordinating work that may extend beyond own area of knowledge and expertise

Languages

* English mandatory: C1 level

Others

* Commercially aware, managing costs on own projects and across team and very large projects

* Is able to lead a team on a project basis

**Salary**

Minimum monthly salary is 1500 brutto + variable part of salary + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
