Procurement Agent


Job Details

Dunne Kozlowski is looking for a self-starting procurement agent with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels and restaurants. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of the industry's unique needs and challenges, helping us optimize our procurement process, reduce costs, and maintain relationships with suppliers and our clients. This role will report to the Managing Director.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our internal teams of architects and interior designers to bring our client s vision to life, while keeping project delivery on-time and on budget.
  • Manage the entire procurement process, from identifying suitable vendors to negotiating contracts, placing orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the market that could affect the supply of goods and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to understand project requirements and specific client needs.
  • Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for management, highlighting performance, potential opportunities, and areas of concern.
  • Extensive network of vendors across a wide range of products, services, and fabricators.
  • Pulling reselection of items from industry knowledge and vendor network


Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in procurement, preferably within the hospitality industry, specifically with hotels.
  • Extensive network of vendors across a wide range of products, services, and fabricators.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Deep knowledge of the hospitality industry and its unique requirements and challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Assertive with pulling together budgets, negotiation pricing and lead times with vendors, and securing final prices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.


Schedule

This full-time role is in Dunne Kozlowski s hybrid studio in Humbolt Park. Mondays and Fridays are remote, and Tuesdays through Thursdays are in the studio.


Compensation

Based on experience.
