Description
School Social Workers needed for full-time position in Philadelphia and South New Jersey.
The School Social Worker enhances academic and behavioral performance among at-risk students through counseling, home visits, intervention, and teacher consultation. Manages school crises and coordinates with outside agencies. Supports students in crisis, grieving, homeless, or parenting. Conducts home visits, coordinates student assistance programs, and tracks student data. Provides individual and group counseling, maintains professional documentation, and leads professional development sessions.
Position Requirements
LSW or LCSW with at least two years of child or adolescent social work experience. School social work or urban education experience is preferred but not required. Strong team player with leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on outcomes.
