**Job Description**

The Front Office/Guest Relations Department includes Front Desk and Customer Service responsibilities. Members are responsible for the day-to-day and long-term campground guests, which includes but is not limited to reservations, inquiries, check-ins and checkouts, and provides exceptional customer service. They also ensure that guests needs are tended to in an efficient and professional manner PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include but are not limited to: Maintain and operate the online booking system and train others as requested by management. Receive all incoming calls and inquiries efficiently, professionally and in a timely manner. Ensures that guests are greeted, checked in and escorted to their sites or rentals promptly and courteously. Follows proper administrative policies and procedures for guest accounts, including but not limited to making reservations, guest check-ins, check-outs, verifying registration information, etc. Monitor online reservations and accounts as needed. Use effective communication in all correspondences with guests, managers, and co-workers. Follow and adhere to all standard operating procedures. Accurately process charges and payments. Follow and adhere to all cash and credit card handling procedures. Generate reports as directed by management. Ensure that all inquiries, messages, bookings, and general calls are handled professionally, effectively, and courteously. Keep a clean and orderly front office/reservations/retail area. Light housekeeping responsibilities in front office and retail store which include, but are not limited to dusting, vacuuming, merchandising, stocking, disposing trash, cleaning employee restroom(s), etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS Related Skills: Must be able to read and speak English. Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain an active auto insurance policy. Exceptional customer service skills are needed when working with the public, customers, management, and co-workers. Ability to change activities frequently and cope with interruptions. Complete all assigned responsibilities, tasks, reports, projects etc. in a professional manner and on an on-time basis. Be available for work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Perform other duties as required. Demonstrate good personal control and judgment under normal and stressful conditions. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs using proper lifting and bending techniques.
