  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • In the CEPS/Nursing Administration Generalist role, the priority focus includes chart abstraction, licenses and certifications review/audit, along with participating as a liaison role with the Regional Nursing programs.

      As a data abstractor for the Stroke Program, you will play a crucial role in extracting and summarizing relevant information from various sources and organizing it into a structured format.

      Licensure reviewer will be highly focused on the review of licensing and certifications of staff files and reporting any missing, incomplete or expiration of elements to the employee or cross-functional teams.

      This role also entails an opportunity to be a liaison with the Regional Nursing programs. In this role you would facilitate communication to various leadership and key staff members throughout the facility.

      Your attention to detail and accuracy is essential in the day-to-day work as it involves careful inspections and the application of quality standards.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Licenses and Certifications Required
      • None
    • Educational Requirements
      • Prefers either High School graduate or equivalent with healthcare experience, or graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), but neither are required
    • Experience Requirements
      • Strong computer skills; Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including application and programming
      • Electronic Health Record experience preferred
    • Special Skills or Training Requirements
      • Abstract crucial medical data for reporting key quality measures
      • Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations
      • Need to be open to change management
      • The ideal candidate must possess the following characteristics:

        • Superb communication and responsiveness
        • Computer literacy
          • Must be comfortable with, but not limited to: Excel, web-browsers, email, electronic health records (non-specific)
          • Must be familiar with various technologies such as, but not limited to data collection/abstraction, web-based applications
        • Self-maintenance of skillset
          • Staying current with abstraction/coding rules, manuals, and guidelines
      • Prior experience in quality and/or office assistant position a plus
      • Motivation: requires the ability to work independently
      • Strong interpersonal skills and tactfulness to be able to effectively communicate with team members, providers and staff
