** Applicants must live in Northern California. NO relocation. This is NOT a Construction Project or Procurement Manager role.
You will develop and manage Construction SERVICES sourcing and procurement NOT Materials; you will develop strategic category plans to optimize cost savings, service excellence, diversity spend and total cost of ownership for the categories and work with LOBs to develop, source, and negotiate major contracts and play a key role in the Supplier Relationship Management/Scorecard process.
Responsibilities:
Sourcing expert for particular Construction Services for projects up to $200M.
Lead the development of high complexity category strategies.
Lead cross-functional team through strategic sourcing process and development/execution of negotiation strategies for high complexity spend categories
Work with senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making at the officer level.
Develop and review performance data with suppliers. Works with suppliers to drive ongoing value discovery.
Develop and sustain mutually beneficial strategic relationships with category and cross-portfolio suppliers.
Maintain awareness of industry and market trends through ongoing research commodities by working with the industry on best practices.
Create and maintain category plans.
Conduct and document market research and supplier risk analysis to verify the financial health of existing and potential suppliers

Portfolio Strategy development
Leading cross-functional teams for sourcing events $100M+ (the lead, developing the team, facilitating meetings, lead on negotiation strategy, etc.)
Understanding the strategic sourcing steps, when to use all and when to utilize a subset
Project Management to Manage Sourcing Event through Seven Step sourcing
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business administration, supply chain management or job-related discipline, OR equivalent experience and 8+ years of civil/ EPC construction SERVICES category strategy management experience. Experience with all MS Office Suite software. SAP a plus.
