Logistics & Operations Analyst


Job Details

Deploy Solutions Group is looking to hire Logistics and Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL. This individual will act as an interface between sales, marketing, business development, and strategic accounts by leveraging analytics and research to develop solutions that drive profitability and category growth. This individual is responsible for managing, analyzing, and developing fact-based reporting tools to deliver concise and actionable recommendations. As Logistics and Operations Analyst, you will deal with business data (Internal and external), including performing data extraction, transformation, modelling, and data visualization. Additionally, you will be responsible for building dynamic reports, dashboards and scorecards.


Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration Support

  • Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products
  • Managing maintenance of Salesforce/Revenova (transportation management software) environment: roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
  • Customize and configure Salesforce according to business needs (System improvements, dashboard creation and maintenance, etc.)
  • Responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, and improvement of Salesforce / Revenova including aiding in implementation of new features or third-party app integrations


Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain scheduled reports, dashboards, and presentations to consistently communicate sales metrics and trends for sales teams and management
  • Maintain score carding for both internal and external use
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, define targets, and provide actional insights
  • Conduct periodic category reviews, or internal business reviews
  • Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables


Operations

  • Execute the development and management of analytical reporting to support internal operations and requirements associated with strategic customers and carriers
  • Support the development of sales presentations for sales and business development teams utilizing a category perspective
  • Support the execution of special projects, ad hoc analysis, and initiatives by leveraging data and analytics
  • Develop thought leadership by translating knowledge and data from a variety of sources into forward thinking insights that form the basis for new or evolved strategic direction
  • Interact with cross-functional teams internally and with strategic customers
  • Identify opportunities and recommended actions by conducting market analyses of category for strategic customers and account teams
  • Create process documentation and guides for training & best practices

  • Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential in this role



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, etc.
  • Proven knowledge or experience with CRMs Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
  • PowerPoint Skills
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in an operations/logistics environment
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and articulate complex processes
  • Documented history of successful project completion
  • Complete complex projects accurately and thoroughly
  • Improve the efficiency of business operations by proactively undertaking regular process analysis and documentation.

Compensation:
