Cutting Machine Mechanic

SAS has an opening for a Cutting Machine Mechanic
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Ensures operation of machinery, mechanical equipment and production machines by completing preventative maintenance requirements by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Controls downtime by informing supervisors of routine preventative maintenance techniques monitoring compliance.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices and control instruments.
- Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Fabricates parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.

- Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work-ethic.
- Equipment maintenance, technical understanding, deals well with uncertainty, basic safety, power tools, and attention to detail, flexibility, job knowledge and productivity.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:- Mechanically inclined, basic maintenance.
- Industrial machine experience is very helpful.
- Knowledge of electrical is important.
- Bilingual is a plus.
