Bliss,US **Division** - Information Technology **Security Clearance** - None **Skills** - We are currently searching for a talented, **IT Support Specialist** to support the Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SLF-TAP) at the Fort Bliss Campus Area Network. The IT Support Specialist shall provide IT support to SFL-TAP staff, faculty and students. This includes monitoring and maintaining the organizations 69 to 75 permanent user systems and 550 to 600 classroom desktop computers, laptops, printers, and all ancillary items related to these systems. The IT Support Specialist will troubleshoot problems with desktops computers, network connectivity, phones, and other peripherals via phone, email, or in person permitting the mission accomplishment of training to move forward without undue delays. This individual shall be responsible for providing support upon receipt of a work request until completion of the issue in accordance with (IAW) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supporting a wide range of equipment including but not limited to: desktop systems, laptop systems, local and networked printers scanners, fax machines, peripherals, operating systems, various application software and limited support for contracted copiers. **Qualifications:**

**This individual must be a U.S. Citizen and must have favorable background check, NACI clearance**

Three (3) or more years of recent experience, gained in the past five (5) years, in IT support experience working with DoD-related (preferably U.S. Army) desktop systems, laptop systems, local and network printers scanners, fax machines, peripherals, operating systems, various application software and copiers.

Preferred experience with Remedy ITSM Ticketing system.

Preferred experience working under performance-based SLAs.

Prior experience working in the Ft. Bliss community is highly desired, but not required.
