They utilize a variety of innovative fiber and splicing technologies to remain on the cutting-edge of their industry. As the company continues to evolve in the rapidly changing ISP industry, they are seeking a VP of Fiber Deployment to lead and oversee all aspects of their design and construction operations.

Focus:
- The VP of Design and Construction will be responsible for measuring and managing risk within the design and construction processes. This includes identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
- The ideal candidate will act as a coach and motivator, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. They will be responsible for the development and growth of the design and construction teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality projects.
- Effectively sequence, manage, and prioritize design and construction projects to meet deadlines and maximize efficiency. The VP will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- The VP should be comfortable working in a lean and scrappy environment, making the most of available resources and optimizing processes to achieve project goals efficiently.
- The candidate should possess significant experience in construction, particularly in the telecom industry. They will oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and manage contractors effectively.
- The VP will take ownership of serviceable passings, working closely with contractors to ensure successful construction and implementation of new connectivity solutions.
Skill Set:
- Master s degree in physics, mechanical engineering, fiber optics, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcMap (3-GIS), or fiber software solutions.
- Prior experience in design and construction, with a preference for telecom industry background.
- Proven aptitude in effective team leadership and management.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully tackling intricate design and construction issues.
- Exceptional organizational abilities for overseeing multiple projects and teams.
- Extensive experience using MS Word and MS Excel for data exchange and reporting purposes.
