JOB TITLE: Custodian - Part-time Seasonal

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrate initiative and able to work without close supervision
2. Possess the ability to make minor repairs to equipment and building
3. Manage time so that scheduled work and duties are completed daily
4. Work collaboratively with others
5. Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule as needed

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor and/or Building Principal

JOB GOAL: To provide students and teachers with safe, clean and attractive environment in which to learn.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Mowing fields, maintaining ball fields, painting as needed
2. Dry mop or vacuum all floors, spot mop and spray buff as needed
3. Clean bathrooms (sanitize sinks, ensure toilets, etc., be spotless)
4. All marks on floors and walls shall be removed
5. Clean and polish all drinking fountains
6. Empty all wastebaskets, dispose of trash
7. Keep custodial area clean and neat
8. Leave a note for the Maintenance Supervisor, Building Principal or designee regarding work that is not complete
9. Make minor repairs as is capable; notify Maintenance Supervisor, Building Principal or designee of all needed repairs
10. Follow District policies and procedures
11. Perform other duties as required and/or directed

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the Bartlett School District Non-Contracted Personnel Policies

WORK YEAR: April 1st- October 31st

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the principal and/or designee
