Schneider Electric is looking for an Security Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced Security Service Technician that has 3 plus years experience and has obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s) in Services as a Field Service Technician.
The work focuses on configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations including:
Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment remote or on site.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions
Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
Respond to On Demand service calls.
Participation in after-hours on call rotation when appropriate
May provide onsite training for customer support personnel
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices
Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or specific technical education. May require the following proficiency:
Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
Provides assistance and training to other employees.
Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.
Execute maintenance and repair on customer installed base, in a specific delimited know-how
Requirements:
CCTV Knowledge and Experience
Networking and device protocol networking experience
Installation and servicing of commercial access control systems.
Experience with commercial and industrial customer sites
Strong troubleshooting skills
Continuum a plus but not required.
Schneider Electrics Access & Security Expert a plus but not required.
Avigilon, Vista, Pelco, Genetec or Milestone a plus
Software House
EcoStruxure Experience a plus
