Description of Responsibilities:


The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the preparation and disbursement of a biweekly payroll in a multi-state environment. They will perform payroll data entry inclusive but not limited to data maintenance, time collection validation, and payroll audit within multiple payroll systems.



Overview of Critical Duties:


Calculate and enter data into ADP (Canadian payroll processing system) and UKG (US payroll processing system).


Responsible for assisting in answering payroll related questions to both our corporate and field associates in a timely manner.


Enter/ review payroll related paperwork such as new hire, termination, job changes, federal, state, and or local employee documentation within the payroll systems (ADP, UKG, MDG, Web Commission).


Enter all time collection emails sent by associates into our time collection devices (ADP & UKG) when necessary.


Review all payroll audits sent prior to payroll close to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions inclusive but not limited to salaries, commissions, garnishments, taxes, and any other deductions.


File and Maintain employee payroll personal paperwork within the ADP and UKG cloud respectfully.


Assist with the management of daily routine, operation, and workload within the payroll office.


Assist with ad hoc reports and completion of documents (unemployment, wage verification, and the replacement of W-2 copies when requested, etc.).


Background/Experience:


  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with the ADP and UKG systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll rules and regulations a plus.
  • Must be a team player with strong organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Must have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.


The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly rate within the range of USD $25-$28 per hour based on experience.
