Job Details

In the role of the Lead Floor Host, the ideal candidate will take charge of various critical aspects, including Reception, Meeting Room Booking, Management, Food, Beverage & Events oversight, and Facilities Support/Space Management. A pivotal aspect of this role is the requirement for a friendly and outgoing personality, as they will also be responsible for covering reception duties when necessary, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all visitors.


Pay - Rate: $30.00/hr

Shift: 8:30am - 5:30pm; Monday - Friday


Job functions:

RECEPTION

Within the realm of reception duties, the Lead Floor Host will play a crucial role in warmly greeting guests and handling inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. They will also be tasked with maintaining a tidy and organized reception area, creating a positive first impression for all who enter the premises. Furthermore, they will assist with various guest services, including conference room bookings and ensuring guests have access to necessary amenities.

MEETING ROOMS

In terms of meeting room management, the Lead Floor Host will take charge of coordinating meeting schedules and logistics, ensuring that each room is set up and equipped according to the specific requirements of each gathering. This entails meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing needs on short notice, ensuring that meetings proceed smoothly and without any hitches.

FOOD & EVENTS

The oversight of food, beverage, and events is another crucial aspect of this role. The Lead Floor Host will be responsible for managing catering arrangements and event logistics, ensuring that all food and beverage requirements are met to the highest standards. This includes coordinating deliveries, set-up, and breakdowns, as well as maintaining inventory levels and handling any special requests or dietary restrictions.

FACILITIES SUPPORT

Facilities support and space management are essential components of maintaining a functional and efficient workplace environment. The Lead Floor Host will be tasked with addressing maintenance needs, overseeing projects related to renovations or improvements, and ensuring that the physical space meets the needs of employees and visitors alike. This requires proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance and management

- High School Diploma or equivalent
