Job Summary:

Perform duties to support the manufacture, evaluation, testing, and quality of all products produced at the Aiken facility. Must be able to investigate production problems, analyze, inspect, assemble, test, and prescribe corrective actions under general manufacturing rules and procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently, take initiative and have good judgment skills to perform the assigned duties. Possessing excellent written and oral communicative skills and the ability to work effectively with all disciplines in the Aiken facility is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate production problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Utilize a variety of inspection equipment effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Assemblers, and other Quality personnel to achieve quality goals.
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude at all times.
  • Act as a team player to ensure overall quality and success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a technician in a mechanical or electro-mechanical environment.
  • Successful completion of LG assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of basic electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading drawings/blueprints.
  • Familiarity with computer-integrated systems such as video imaging and data acquisition.
  • Strong mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.

Pay: $27/hour - $32/hour

Duration: 3-month Contract-to-Hire
