Priority Wire & Cable is a modern manufacture with the majority of our sales being Priority branded products. We also fill out our product offering with specialty wire and cable products, sold generically or under other industry leading brand names. This allows us to provide a product offering and service level unmatched by other industry factories or brokers. We sell only to wholesale distribution and provide same day shipping from our twelve North American distribution centers (eleven in the U.S. and one in Toronto). With a total of 1.5 million square feet of warehouse space we have industry leading fill rates and next day delivery to most customers.

Priority Wire and Cable is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Inside Sales Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual with strong work ethics to join a stable, respected company which offers a competitive wage (base and bonus) and benefit package. You will be backed by unsurpassed inventory and service levels so the right candidate can focus on selling and not managing back orders or filling out reports. Working conditions are within an office working with two of our Inside Sales professionals.

**Job responsibilities may include any or all of the following:**

* Assist with answering inbound phone calls and directing them to the proper account manager

* Check orders entered by account managers for accuracy

* Manage accounts and inquiries for peers when they are out of office

* Daily contact via phone and email with existing (90%) and potential customers (10%) to quote business and pro-actively tele-market our product.

* Proactively tele market product lines to new and/or slow customer contacts

* Manage pricing based on local market levels, inventory availability, and overhead costs to maximize profits and customer service.

* Manage customer price sheets if applicable.

* Work in conjunction with manufacturers reps and regional sales people to grow business.

* Evaluate customer needs to determine appropriate products or alternatives to meet job or project requirements.

* Coordinate marketing activities with major distributors, including marketing and other programs or promos. Coordinate new customer set-up process. Collect data needed by accounts receivable to establish lines of credit. Determine appropriate line based on estimated volume.

* Handle customer complaints including product quality, freight claims, pricing, etc.

* Enter quotes and orders into computer system.

* Occasionally visit customers in specific marketplaces to solidify relationship and/or develop new business.

**Qualifications/Desired Characteristics:**.

* Knowledge and/or willing to learn Sales Industry.

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

* Understanding of MS Office.

* Detail oriented.

* Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a close knit office environment.

* Commercial experience understanding, such as cost analysis, internal and external benchmarking, market trend analysis, competitor pricing.

* **Bi-lingual (preferred)**

* Desire to learn the international market (Latin America focus) and grow into an entrenched international sales role

* Experience using Rubicon (preferred, but not required)

* Knowledge of wire and cable products (preferred, but not required)
