Solid Rock Recruiting has joined with a great Division 8 contractor deep in the heart of Texas. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Division 8 Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Division 8 Project Management and a thorough understanding of the construction industry, particularly in building doors and frames. Proficiency in Comsense is essential.
NOTE: If you are not currently in the Doors, Frames, and Hardware industry (Division 8) you are NOT qualified for this job- no matter how many years of experience you have as a Project Manager. Please do NOT apply. That being said....this is one of the BEST contractors to work for- So if you are a real Division 8 Project Manager- we want to speak with YOU.
Doors Frames and Hardware Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage Division 8 projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met on time and within budget
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Oversee all aspects of the project, including procurement, manufacturing, delivery, and installation
- Maintain a high level of quality control and ensure that all products and services meet or exceed industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively
- Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures
Doors Frames and Hardware Project Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience SPECIFIC to Division 8, with a focus on being able to machine doors and frames
- Proficiency in Comsense
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
