Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticuts leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Through our multi-site network of care, we constantly strive to meet its mission in helping people find their way while educating and empowering individuals to participate in their own care and recovery.
Job Summary
The Recreation Coordinator is responsible for oversight of programmatic activities, including life skills development. Monitors and implements program policies and procedures. Responsible for critical decision making in issues of health and safety.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent
Two years of related experience, inpatient and/or residential preferred
Current drivers license with ability to obtain PSL-A license, which requires passing drug screen and DOT physical
Computer proficiency and keyboard skills
