Summary
We are looking for a Traffic Signal Technician to join the City of Charleston's Traffic and Transportation Department! In this role, you will assist with running overhead and underground cable, installing traffic signals, and conducting required maintenance.
Examples of Duties
- Inspects the working conditions of trucks.
- Assists with performance of preventative maintenance on all signals.
- Performs work from bucket truck or platform truck.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to obtain CDL permit within six months of employment and CDL license within one year of employment
