Parts Inventory Control Clerk Job Summary

The primary function of the Inventory Control Clerk is to assist with management/coordination of parts inventory.

**The shift for this position is Monday - Friday, 8-5 with occasional Saturdays.

Parts Inventory Control Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist with stock and emergency purchasing, reports, vendor stock and core returns, order levels, receiving and related functions.
2. Run and update PACCAR reports, input all stock orders and assist with emergency orders daily.
3. Keep prices current.
4. Monitor and process credits, RMA's outstanding and shipping authorizations.
5. Files departmental paperwork.
6. Assists Parts Manager with special projects as requested, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory count.
7. Maintain good communications with team members to minimize mistakes and maximize teamwork.

Parts Inventory Control Clerk Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Clearly legible handwriting. Computer terminal data input, 10 key calculator. 2 years general office experience with understanding of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, basic accounting. Knowledge of bill s of lading, freight bills. Excel lent organization and communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, telephoning, filing, and ten-key. For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of at least 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance will be required. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
