Lab Technician
W2 Contract
Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Onsite Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use attention to detail and the ability to make sound judgments to impact the consistency of our platform. An organized and well-run lab is critical in ensuring that the hundreds of cell production flasks can be handled efficiently.
- You will assist in organizing and handling samples, cleaning of a variety of lab equipment and areas. Waste management, stocking, and general lab support will aid in the successful operation of our neural iPSC production lab efforts. This role requires a drive for organization and attention to detail.
- Manage various competing priorities; shift and adapt at a moment's notice.
- Directly support a team producing vast numbers (100B+) of iPSC neural cells. They will mentor and teach you the many aspects involved in the process. You will work in a fast-paced TechBio environment with cutting-edge lab equipment and diverse cross-functional teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a Biologic discipline) or progressing toward a Bachelor's degree
- General familiarity with biological terminology
- Strong organization skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
