Temporary Administrative Assistant


Job Details

A top-tier Dallas hedge fund is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Hiring Manager in their Dallas office ASAP. This role calls for a proactive, resourceful, forward-thinking candidate who will be brought on a temp capacity.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR manager with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees
  • Perform calendar management and prioritize meetings based on business needs
  • Answer incoming calls and routing them appropriately
  • Conducting expense reports
  • Manage arrangements for internal and external meetings, conference calls, etc and compile and disseminate materials for meetings as necessary
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
  • Conduct vendor research



Qualifications:


  • Heavy admin background, 3+ years of experience
  • Interest in HR
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Microsoft product suite proficiency (Excel, Word, OneNote, etc.)
  • Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping
  • Professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills
