JOB SUMMARY:
MP's Client is an industry-leading consulting firm that provides support to more than 600 qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. We are currently interviewing candidates for a full time remote Retirement Plan Consultant position. This position will serve as the primary point of contact relating to plan administration for the client. The qualified candidate will join us at our offices in Northbrook, Illinois, or could work remotely (anywhere in the United States).

Retirement Plan Consultant Job Responsibilities Include:
- Plan Design, Implementation and Set up
- Compliance Testing
- Calculation of Employer Contributions
- Government Reporting (5500, 5310, 5330)
- Trust Accounting and Reconciliation
- Balance Forward recordkeeping
- Benefit Calculations
- Plan Documentation Review
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred (experience may suffice education)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in the administration of Qualified Plans including DC (defined contribution) and 401(k) (Daily Valuation and/or Balance Forward).
- Designations/Certifications: ASPPA Designations (QPA, CPC, etc.) - possibility of obtaining on the job depending on years of experience/knowledge.
- Knowledge/Skills Required...
- Relius Administration/Recordkeeping knowledge
- Understanding of qualified retirement plan testing, alternative plan designs, and the ability to interact well with clients, both internal and external.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work independently, multitask, and set own priorities with limited supervision.

MP's Client was established in 1995 and provides consulting, plan design, recordkeeping, administration, and compliance services for qualified and non-qualified retirement plans. They provide industry-leading support to daily 401(k) plans, other defined contribution plans, defined benefit and cash balance plans. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Location: Remote within the United States. If local to our office in Northbrook, Illinois - you are welcome to join us in office.
- Compensation: Determined based on education, years of experience, certifications, and more. If candidate meets each qualification, we are aiming for around $80k + per year.
