JOB SUMMARY Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for skilled Refrigeration Technician, responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets. This position ensures the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration. OUR MECHANICS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:$35.00/hr BOESchedule: 7AM-4PM M-FJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and perform preventative maintenance activities on ammonia refrigeration systemsComplete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance recordsObserve and test system operation, using gauges, and instrumentsDismantle, assemble, and install refrigeration equipmentMaintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of productionEnsure all repairs are documented. Complete all paperwork clearly, legibly, and accurately with required information. Document all required information in accordance with standard operations proceduresAssist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels to supervisorAssist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtimeStay up to date on new products, equipment, technology and techniquesUtilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processesExhibit the ability to anticipate parts requirements for the tasks, follow proper purchasing procedures, and acquire parts ahead of anticipated task performanceMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
