Consilio is currently assisting an established and well-respected law firm with the search for a talented Associate to join the firm's Century City office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney that is looking to work on complex, high-end, and innovative matters at a growing litigation firm.
Highlights:
- Position: The firm is expanding their commercial litigation practice and is seeking to hire multiple attorneys with strong litigation experience to join the firm's Century City office on a hybrid work schedule (in-office 3-days per week).
- Culture: The firm offers a friendly, collegial environment with big firm clientele, pay, and benefits. The firm also provides mentorship resources and associates are given substantial responsibility to take ownership of their cases from the start.
- Billables: The firm does NOT have a billable hour requirement to be bonus or raise eligible. (Most associates typically bill in the 1900 hour range, but there is flexibility for those looking to bill less.)
- Compensation: The firm offers yearly salary increases, multiple bonus opportunities, and a competitive benefits package. Generally, junior associates can expect salaries in the $180k - $260k range; mid-level associates can expect a $240k - $320k range; and senior associates can expect a $300k - $450k range. (The firm is not lockstep and salaries will depend on each candidate's level of experience.)
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a creative thinker, and excited about gaining hands-on litigation experience.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 - 10 years of commercial litigation work experience (post-law school), preferably in a large or mid-sized law firm setting.
- The ideal candidate will also have excellent academic credentials and strong legal research and writing skills.
- Candidates must be actively barred in California and in good standing.
